In December 2019, I played a pivotal role in organizing and facilitating the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for remittance services between Padma Bank Ltd., Bangladesh, and theĀ UK. This agreement marked a significant milestone in enhancing the ease and efficiency of cross-border financial transactions.
The collaboration between these two financial entities aimed at simplifying the remittance process for the Bangladeshi diaspora in the UK, ensuring more secure and swift financial transfers. This initiative not only served the interests of individuals and families reliant on remittances but also aligned with broader economic goals shared by both Bangladesh and the global community, including the United States.
